Radha and Parvati with Maharajji, 1971

This event is a half benefit for the Living/Dying Project and half benefit for Radha.

Join the Project for an exciting reunion and conversation with Parvati, Radha, and RamDev! Listen as they revisit their time together in India and what teachings and stories still resonate with them today. This will be a special opportunity to learn and hang out with longstanding members of the Neem Karoli Baba satsang.

A private zoom link will be emailed by Thursday, July 6th end of day. This event will be recorded and a link will be sent to all registrants to view up until 30 days after.

PARVATI MARKUS is the author of Whisper in the Heart: The Ongoing Presence of Neem Karoli Baba (Mandala Publishing, 2022); Love Everyone: The Transcendent Wisdom of Neem Karoli Baba Told Through the Stories of the Westerners Whose Lives He Transformed (HarperOne, 2015); and a children’s book Isabella Castaspella: The Happy Little Witch and Her Friends (SitaRam Press, 2022) with co-author Radha Baum. She is a substantive editor who has been midwifing spiritually-oriented, non-fiction books and memoirs since her first efforts with Ram Dass’s classic Be Here Now and has helped with spiritual organizations (past President of the Board of the Neem Karoli Baba Ashram and Taos Hanuman temple in Taos, NM) and events (as a development consultant for the Global Peace Initiative of Women). She is on the Board of Advisors for the Love Serve Remember Foundation. Parvati has an M.A. in Creative Writing from Antioch University and has studied “story” with Robert McKee. Parvati’s new book Whisper in the Heart: The Ongoing Presence of Neem Karoli Baba

RADHA BAUM is a retired Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) and a Registered Nurse (RN), as well as licensed acupuncturist and practitioner of various complementary healing techniques. She has also studied with Robert McKee and is the co-author of Isabella Castaspella, a children’s book with an underlying spiritual theme. A devotee of Neem Karoli Baba, she was with him in India in 1971-2. After suffering a broken neck in an auto accident some years ago, she maintains her spiritual practice of chanting the Hanuman Chalisa, among other mantras, and loves to share her stories of transformative experiences with Maharajji.
