The Jewish Family and Children’s Services have several programs and their goal is to keep people independent and in their homes for as long as possible and offers services for the non Medi-Cal, 18 years and over population. The Multipurpose Senior Services Program offers services for persons 65 years and older and Medi-Cal elligible. You must become a client to receive services and to become a client you would be at risk for institutionalization and be disabled. Services include: case management, respite funding (3-6 month waiting list), financial help with equipment. Information and referral services are available to everyone.

Non-denominational spiritual support for those faced with a life-threatening illness and their families. The Next Step program is a four-week, introductory program for persons who are newly diagnosed with a life-threatening illness. Clients will learn skills to cope with stress and begin the journey of spiritual healing. The Open Circle program provides one-to-one support for a person with a life-threatening illness. Support is available to our client’s caregivers.
