Volunteer to Work with Clients

Even if you do not live locally, you can still become a Living/Dying Project Volunteer. We have volunteers all around North America as well as Australia and Europe.

Volunteers must attend the Online Workshop, or any “Conscious Living/Conscious Dying” workshop, and then notify us you would like to be a volunteer. This workshop provides the fundamental understanding and practices used to serve those dealing with end-of-life issues under the Living/Dying Project model. Although clients are not guaranteed, we do our best to match a volunteer when a client becomes available. The workshop will nonetheless provide a deep dive into the core work of the Living/Dying project, and anyone who takes it will benefit from its practices and learn how to offer conscious and compassionate support to people with a life-threatening illness. If applicable, CEU credits for psychologists, therapists, social workers, nurses, and acupuncturists are available depending on which workshop you take.

Volunteers can attend an every-other-month online support group. This group will support your inner spiritual work as well as supporting you in working with any clients with life-threatening illnesses that you might find in your local community.

Volunteers are an integral part of the Living/Dying Project. We welcome volunteers from all backgrounds regardless of race, color, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, religion, or disability who engage in this work with an open heart.
